Be ready for a few good surprises along the way, but for now, I can share that the new control flow features will be available with that version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/new-control-flow-rfc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">control flow RFC<\/a> a few months back. The Angular team received <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.angular.io\/meet-angulars-new-control-flow-a02c6eee7843\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">valuable feedback<\/a> from it and decided to go with the following syntax:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14-1024x391.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1646\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14-1024x391.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14-300x114.png 300w, https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14-768x293.png 768w, https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14-1536x586.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image-14.png 1714w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above syntax can be used instead of <code>ngIf<\/code> and its <a href=\"https:\/\/angular.io\/api\/common\/NgIf#:~:text=Form%20with%20an%20%22else%22%20block%3A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">awkward <code>else<\/code> syntax<\/a>. Also visible in the above example is @defer, a way to lazy-load a component based on different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.angulartraining.com\/daily-newsletter\/lazy-loading-with-defer-new-rfc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">criteria<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, we&#8217;ll cover all this in the newsletter in November once all these features are officially released.
